We are now on Week 13 of the Braun Family Reboot. We have cut out sugar and gluten from our diet as well as most chemicals/additivies/fake sugar, etc. We have increased our veggies and gotten smarter about what we put in our bodies. As a family, we've lost 78 pounds - the weight of a small person!

We spent most of our summer in Europe - working and lazing on the beach with friends in Croatia. During one of the laid back days, I had a chance to put together my "YES List". These are things that I WANT to say YES to but can't. This is probably my biggest motivation to make the changes we are making. So, here's the list! I'm sure I'll add to it, but I want to make it public so you can share the small victories with me!

My YES List in no particular order:

1. Climb a hill to see stuff (forts, castles, view, etc.) They are all at the TOP of hills.

2. Go down water slides at water parks.

3. Go tubing.

4. Jet ski.

5. Get back into the boat from the water after falling out.

6. Walk at Disney (no scooter).

7. Go to Philmont with my sons.

8. Run from an attacking bear. (A contribution from my kids)

9. Walk for 120 minutes without stopping.

10. Stand for more than a few minutes - like an hour!

11. Ride a bike with my kids.

12. Jump off the bridge in Skradin, Croatia.

13. Go on a chair lift.

14. Do a somersault and cartwheel.

15. Ballroom dance for an evening.

16. Ride all the rides at Six Flags.

17. Fly in an airplane without a seatbelt extension.

18. Happily shop for clothes.

19. Rapel

20. Sit in a booth and not at a table in a restaurant.

21. Participate in a 5K walk.

22. Participate in all the activities at a scout camp out.

23. Skip.

24. Climb a tree.

25. Play soccer (or any game!) with my boys.

26. Sit in a chair that has arms.

27. Swim one mile.

28. Go on a 5 Mile Hike with Troop 9.

29. Show up at Eagle Springs pool in a swimsuit (and be happy about it).

30. Walk to school with my kids.

31. Play Murder in the Dark.

32. Park anywhere downtown and not worry about how to walk into the office without sitting.

33. Park in the last space at Wal-Mart and it be ok.

34. Play tag.

35. Choose any excursion on a cruise and not worry about the weight limits.

36. Go whitewater rafting.

37. Wear shoes with some kind of heel.

38. Not have to "choose' the chair I sit in based on it's structural integrity.

39. Shop at normal stores and not in the "Women's" Department.

40. Sit on the plane without worrying about who is next to me and if I make them squished.

41. Ride a Segway. They have them at Disney, but there is a weight limit.

42. Run a mile.

43. Tuck in my shirt.

44. Look at a flight of stairs as just another path to get somewhere - not with fear and dread.

45. Wear a great ball gown when I "walk the stage" as a Diamond! :-)

46. Look forward to the zoo - and do everything there without sending people on ahead of me.

47. Sit criss-cross-apple-sauce on the floor and not worry about how I'll get back up.

48. Button my scout uniform.

49. Zipline. The big, cool ones that are really long!

50. Tie my shoes without contorting into some un-human position and needing rest afterwards.
